DESCRIPTION:Thursday Tea To Go* is providing hot takeaway meals free of charge every Thursday from Acomb Methodist Church.  From 3pm a team of local volunteers will be preparing meals\, for people to collect between 6 and 7pm.    \n\n\n\nNeed a meal?\n\n\n\nWe are supporting individuals and family struggling with the cost of living crisis and mental health. If you need a hot meal this week\, text menu to 07454893154 to find out what we are cooking. Meals can then be collected between 6 and 7:00 p.m. from AMC. \n\n\n\nWant to volunteer?\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are always looking for volunteers to help with the cooking and distribution of 40 meals each week.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur chef and sous-chefs meet at 3.30 and prepare and cook a nutritious and tasty meal. Hosts arrive at 5.30 to welcome customers\, make a cuppa and have a chat with them. We are all finished and tidied away by 7.15.  \n\n\n\nWe are a diverse and welcoming team with some members volunteering weekly and other helping once every few months. We offer full training\, a flexible rota system and a warm welcome.
