SUMMARY:Sunday Worship (Hybrid Worship)
DESCRIPTION:Our Sunday worship post-covid is physical each week\, although we now also offer the opportunity for everyone to join us interactively on Zoom\, and occasionally we broadcast a livestream to YouTube. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur worship\, varies through the month\, from an All Age\, family friendly time of worship\, through to contemporary worship with modern songs\, and more traditional worship\, including a monthly Holy Communion.  Once a month we also have a Zoom bible study\, running in parallel\, which is a more interactive\, discussion led time. \n\n\n\nWe have a range of preachers\, from our own ministers\, visiting and home-grown local preachers and congregation members.  We use modern technology such as YouTube clips\, video and music either played live\, or streamed\, so we are no limited in styles. \n\n\n\nOccasionally we link up digitally with another church\, for someone leading from elsewhere\, to link in with a charity partner\, or one of our sister churches. \n\n\n\nFollowing the service we linger for coffee\, and when the right people are on duty\, even a cappuccino.  We have a room where you can chat with those joining us digitally afterwards\, so nobody is left out. \n\n\n\nWe welcome families and children\, and alongside the Sunday services\, we offer a variety of activities which when not joining us for the main service are tailored for them.  This includes Godly Play\, which is an interactive story telling time\, followed by a free creative response. \n\n\n\nEarly mornings we also host Northumbrian morning prayer at 9:15 (see seperate event) which is a much quieter and simpler prayer time. \n\n\n\nIf you wish to join us online you will need a Zoom account (free) on a suitable device\, ideally with a camera and microphone. DESCRIPTION:Our incredibly popular toddler group takes place on Tuesday mornings during term time.  Spread over three of our rooms\, with a variety of stumulating play equipment\, craft\, safe play and creative acitvities\, it is open to children under 4 years of age\, accompanied by an adult.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe have safe stumlating activities suitable for those from babes in arms\, to preschool age. The morning includes story and song times\, and an opportunity for those caring for the children to get to know each other over a cup of tea and coffee.

DESCRIPTION:Thursday Tea To Go* is providing hot takeaway meals free of charge every Thursday from Acomb Methodist Church.  From 3pm a team of local volunteers will be preparing meals\, for people to collect between 6 and 7pm.    \n\n\n\nNeed a meal?\n\n\n\nWe are supporting individuals and family struggling with the cost of living crisis and mental health. If you need a hot meal this week\, text menu to 07454893154 to find out what we are cooking. Meals can then be collected between 6 and 7:00 p.m. from AMC. \n\n\n\nWant to volunteer?\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are always looking for volunteers to help with the cooking and distribution of 40 meals each week.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur chef and sous-chefs meet at 3.30 and prepare and cook a nutritious and tasty meal. Hosts arrive at 5.30 to welcome customers\, make a cuppa and have a chat with them. We are all finished and tidied away by 7.15.  \n\n\n\nWe are a diverse and welcoming team with some members volunteering weekly and other helping once every few months. We offer full training\, a flexible rota system and a warm welcome. DESCRIPTION:Thursday Tea To Go* is providing hot takeaway meals free of charge every Thursday from Acomb Methodist Church.  From 3pm a team of local volunteers will be preparing meals\, for people to collect between 6 and 7pm.    \n\n\n\nNeed a meal?\n\n\n\nWe are supporting individuals and family struggling with the cost of living crisis and mental health. If you need a hot meal this week\, text menu to 07454893154 to find out what we are cooking. Meals can then be collected between 6 and 7:00 p.m. from AMC. \n\n\n\nWant to volunteer?\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are always looking for volunteers to help with the cooking and distribution of 40 meals each week.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur chef and sous-chefs meet at 3.30 and prepare and cook a nutritious and tasty meal. Hosts arrive at 5.30 to welcome customers\, make a cuppa and have a chat with them. We are all finished and tidied away by 7.15.  \n\n\n\nWe are a diverse and welcoming team with some members volunteering weekly and other helping once every few months. We offer full training\, a flexible rota system and a warm welcome. DESCRIPTION:Our Sunday worship post-covid is physical each week\, although we now also offer the opportunity for everyone to join us interactively on Zoom\, and occasionally we broadcast a livestream to YouTube. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur worship\, varies through the month\, from an All Age\, family friendly time of worship\, through to contemporary worship with modern songs\, and more traditional worship\, including a monthly Holy Communion.  Once a month we also have a Zoom bible study\, running in parallel\, which is a more interactive\, discussion led time. \n\n\n\nWe have a range of preachers\, from our own ministers\, visiting and home-grown local preachers and congregation members.  We use modern technology such as YouTube clips\, video and music either played live\, or streamed\, so we are no limited in styles. \n\n\n\nOccasionally we link up digitally with another church\, for someone leading from elsewhere\, to link in with a charity partner\, or one of our sister churches. \n\n\n\nFollowing the service we linger for coffee\, and when the right people are on duty\, even a cappuccino.  We have a room where you can chat with those joining us digitally afterwards\, so nobody is left out. \n\n\n\nWe welcome families and children\, and alongside the Sunday services\, we offer a variety of activities which when not joining us for the main service are tailored for them.  This includes Godly Play\, which is an interactive story telling time\, followed by a free creative response. \n\n\n\nEarly mornings we also host Northumbrian morning prayer at 9:15 (see seperate event) which is a much quieter and simpler prayer time. \n\n\n\nIf you wish to join us online you will need a Zoom account (free) on a suitable device\, ideally with a camera and microphone. DESCRIPTION:Our Sunday worship post-covid is physical each week\, although we now also offer the opportunity for everyone to join us interactively on Zoom\, and occasionally we broadcast a livestream to YouTube. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur worship\, varies through the month\, from an All Age\, family friendly time of worship\, through to contemporary worship with modern songs\, and more traditional worship\, including a monthly Holy Communion.  Once a month we also have a Zoom bible study\, running in parallel\, which is a more interactive\, discussion led time. \n\n\n\nWe have a range of preachers\, from our own ministers\, visiting and home-grown local preachers and congregation members.  We use modern technology such as YouTube clips\, video and music either played live\, or streamed\, so we are no limited in styles. \n\n\n\nOccasionally we link up digitally with another church\, for someone leading from elsewhere\, to link in with a charity partner\, or one of our sister churches. \n\n\n\nFollowing the service we linger for coffee\, and when the right people are on duty\, even a cappuccino.  We have a room where you can chat with those joining us digitally afterwards\, so nobody is left out. \n\n\n\nWe welcome families and children\, and alongside the Sunday services\, we offer a variety of activities which when not joining us for the main service are tailored for them.  This includes Godly Play\, which is an interactive story telling time\, followed by a free creative response. \n\n\n\nEarly mornings we also host Northumbrian morning prayer at 9:15 (see seperate event) which is a much quieter and simpler prayer time. \n\n\n\nIf you wish to join us online you will need a Zoom account (free) on a suitable device\, ideally with a camera and microphone. From 3pm a team of local volunteers will be preparing meals\, for people to collect between 6 and 7pm.    \n\n\n\nNeed a meal?\n\n\n\nWe are supporting individuals and family struggling with the cost of living crisis and mental health. If you need a hot meal this week\, text menu to 07454893154 to find out what we are cooking. Meals can then be collected between 6 and 7:00 p.m. from AMC. \n\n\n\nWant to volunteer?\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are always looking for volunteers to help with the cooking and distribution of 40 meals each week.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur chef and sous-chefs meet at 3.30 and prepare and cook a nutritious and tasty meal. Hosts arrive at 5.30 to welcome customers\, make a cuppa and have a chat with them. We are all finished and tidied away by 7.15.  \n\n\n\nWe are a diverse and welcoming team with some members volunteering weekly and other helping once every few months. This includes Godly Play\, which is an interactive story telling time\, followed by a free creative response. \n\n\n\nEarly mornings we also host Northumbrian morning prayer at 9:15 (see seperate event) which is a much quieter and simpler prayer time. \n\n\n\nIf you wish to join us online you will need a Zoom account (free) on a suitable device\, ideally with a camera and microphone.
